Wanted: Virtual Assistant for Travelling Land Buyer

Summary

A virtual assistant is required to help a travelling land buyer spend more time in the field. You will be supporting an experienced land buyer in visiting 15-20 property agents per working day across 6 Eastern England counties and taking care of all day to day admin of a small property business (32 tenanted rooms across 5 houseshares in Ipswich and Colchester) while he is in the field.

Role Responsibilities

  • Researching property agents to visit
  • Preparing sales visit routes and itineraries
  • Researching sold prices and planning histories of properties in different areas
  • Daily refreshing of any ‘room to let’ ad listings across different portals
  • Answering tenant enquiries via different channels
  • Qualifying prospective tenants on the phone and booking viewings
  • Onboarding prospective new tenants (i.e. taking them and their guarantors through the paperwork process)
  • Providing customer service and updates to existing tenants
  • Liaising with a range of suppliers and business partners via email, text and phone
  • Making enquiries with, obtaining quotes from and booking appointments and organising access for contractors
  • Organising parking permits for contractors
  • Reconciling accounts receivable and chasing any overdue payments
  • Carrying out various desktop personal assistant tasks as required

Qualities Required

  • Must be polite, well-mannered, positive, enthusiastic, high energy and upbeat
  • Excellent communication skills both spoken and written
  • Fluent English
  • Must be fluent with computers and very organised / systematic
  • Must be familiar with practical aspects of life in the UK
  • Must understand English culture
  • Must have your own solid IT and broadband infrastructure
  • Must have use of a quiet environment where you can make and receive calls

Working Hours

  • This is a flexible role where your work hours will be determined by (1) the workload at the time; and (2) your availability
  • Generally you will need to be available to make / receive calls during at least part of the 9am-5pm UK working day
  • This is an ongoing role

Working Location

You are free to work from any quiet environment where you have all the necessary IT infrastructure, fast broadband and from which you can make and receive calls.

  • Wages are negotiable depending on experience
  • All training will be provided
